Without any assistance and with all of our belongings, we walked all the way to the front desk, where they gave us another room 2 floors below the flooded room? When we got there, the carpets were already wet outside the room from the flood 2 floors up, and the bathtub water faucet was on, for what reason we don't know, maybe maintenance was trying to reduce water pressure? We made our way back again to the front desk, wondering why we were placed in the 2nd location in the same building, and the manager gave us a downgraded room for the rest of our stay. Before they arrived, we hurried to get dressed and were coughing from what I think was an electrical fire, since the water was coming out the ceiling lights with black soot. The air quality was immediately unhealthy, and my 8 month pregnant wife and I hurried to get everything out quickly, without any help or assistance from the staff, who was too busy trying to catch the flood of water in tiny trash receptacles. At 7:30am, our room, H314 was completely flooded with scolding hot water and leaking electrical soot from the ceiling which emergency maintenance could not contain.
